Goals.

After reading Elsie's post from A Beautiful Mess last week, it played on my brain. I have never really been one for goals, my life has always been fairly spontaneous, day to day, living as things happen. I felt like setting myself some realistic goals would probably do myself some good. It took me a while to write this post out but here they are!

1. Sometimes being a Mum, setting up a business and keeping a house running can be slightly overwhelming. I find myself getting stuck into a ruck of sitting in my house all day. Even if I walk around the field's for 15 minutes, it will do me, my daughter and the dog (now he's old enough to go for walks!) the world of good. I find myself getting low due to the fact I live in a small village with no driving, yet there are some beautiful walk's around here. It will give me that extra excercise as well as do wonders for my mind. 2. My business will be up by the end of the year! It has to be, it's a small pressure but I feel that I need that pressure. Since 2012, I have learned so much about myself, what I am capable of and I know that I can do it. 3. As most relationship's that 'spark' can die out, and I really don't want it to! Just a little affection can do a relationship the world of wonders. I want to be the old couple you see still holding hands and kissing. 4. I love to make things, I always have. Even if it's a little embroidery, I want to teach creativity to my daughter. Its the most satifying thing I know! I used to draw everyday, make jewelry and  I loved it. I need to bring it back.

Favourite season

Its no lie to say that Autumn is my favourite season, and already there's a clear crisp feeling in the air. I love Summer, but there's something quite satisfying about layering up with thick scarve's and those lovely wooly jumpers. To match the tree's, i'm loving rusty red's and browns, gorgeous green's and deep oranges. I'm dreaming of kitch patterned tights, russian hats and those perfect pair of boots.

Sweet Chivalry has been on to some dreamy vintage pieces lately, I can't even put into words how excited I am to open the shop! It won't be far from now, Christmas time hopefully! Soon I will be able to post an opening date, we can have a little online opening Christmas tea party. I just need to promote promote promote!
