Wedding dress - The basics

Until I had the idea of making my own, eventually it turned into the idea of crocheting it myself. I then by chance came across irish crochet, also known as Irish lace. It's basically crochet created with thread and usually 'padded' to give it a 3d effect. It's so beautiful and intricate I had no idea I'd even be able to do it. But I was brought a book and have discovered I can, so there begins a project for me! No pressure. I've narrowed down my design ideas, but until a lot closer to the wedding, in 2016, I'm not setting myself on something. I know I'd like a pretty neckline, for my lovely family heirloom necklace I was lucky enough to receive. Some sort of sleeve and a fitted waist/hips. I'm so excited that I started a couple weeks ago already. I'm hooked (excuse the pun)

My favorite neckline and sleeves! Would be so flattering. My aim is to make at the very least one motif a day.
