Easter display

Even if it is very early I get so carried away with jazzing up my display shelf towards the holidays! I'm still yet to make a Happy Easter banner/bunting type something and we'll definitely be painting eggs. Easter's special to me because Freya was born on good Friday!

Spring is fastly creeping upon us over here and its beautiful, we love our picnics in the garden, Freya has a whale of a time running back and forth up the patio in hysterics (over nothing).

We have a few lovely things coming up in the next few weeks, Freya's birthday, Easter egg hunts and we're down to my Nan and Gramps in Devon soon, it will be her first time on the beach, i'm so excited for her!

Terrible

To be completely honest I sometimes (if not often) disappoint myself. I am constantly coming up with new idea's which quite often end up become just a phase. I wouldn't say it is because I 'get bored' easily or even lack motivation. Things just never end up being quite what they seem. 2012 is a time for a change in my life. I have many plans, but this time they will be realistic. I want to live, really live. I envy so many other people's lives, which is not a quality trait to have, so I must create a life that make's me and my daughter genuinely happy. I want to take more photo's, take more walks and most of all stay calm. I'd like to see the beauty in things like I used to. Mostly I need to sort my life out and stop complaining.

Coming soon! Honest!

Long time.

I've been very absent from the world of blogging for quite some time, I suppose that i've been feeling a tiny bit uninspired, and Freya has been keeping me fairly busy to say the least.

A few things have happened, some productive but most of the time I find it difficult to tidy the house and do the washing up, nevermind focus on being creative. I've set up a small sweet treats business called Sweetly Sweetly, where I do car boots when I can and custom orders. I enjoy making cakes but it's not where my heart lays. I secretly have a dream of making beautiful animals and dolls, painting and drawing all day. I'll get there one day I know I will! I just need my motivation to kick start and last.

Anyhow, Freya's growing so beautifully.

And breathe...

Yes. Renegade has come to the UK. I've never been so happy! I even let out a little scream when I found out. I've been secretly wishing it would come over here, in fact it was making me miserable that America seems to have such a wide variety of wonderful craft fairs, there doesn't appear to be a lot over here. It's the first ever on October 8-9th from 11am-6pm. I have every intent of going, and even more intent on having a stall next year.
